A 200-year-old haveli, lovingly restored. Twelve rooms, each a chapter. The lake at your window. Welcome home.
Reserve Your Stay →Haveli Aarav has stood at the edge of Lake Pichola for over two centuries. Originally built for a Mewar merchant family, it passed through generations before being thoughtfully restored — keeping every jharokha window, every hand-painted fresco, every carved sandstone archway.
We didn't renovate it. We listened to it. The rooms are cool in summer and warm in winter, as the thick Rajasthani walls intended. The courtyard still fills with jasmine at dusk. The rooftop still watches the City Palace turn gold at sunset.
This is not a performance of Rajasthan for tourists. This is Rajasthan, as it has always lived.
We don't hand you a brochure. We tell you where we actually eat, what time the ghats are most beautiful, and which lane has the best kachori in the old city.
A 5-minute walk from the ghats. A 10-minute walk from the City Palace. Right in the middle of everything — and yet, somehow, away from the noise.
The lanes leading to Haveli Aarav are too narrow for tourist buses. Which is exactly the point.
Haveli Aarav hosts a limited number of guests at a time — to keep the experience intimate, unhurried, and genuinely personal. Availability goes fast, especially October through March.
